The instrument looked more like a miniature sized surfing board attached with wheels. Nowadays with the advancement of science and technology, electric skateboards have also come in to existence.

The mechanism of operating a skateboard is quite simple and one who has a good sense and practice of balance will be able to perform skateboarding. The more practice he has in it the better he will become. The skateboard is pushed forward by propelling it with the help of one foot while the other foot rests on the board it self. There are many people who have taken up skateboarding as a hobby while others have taken it as their profession, by showing off some entertaining skills they have been able to procure money and thus skateboarding has been converted as their livelihood.
